Detailed Job description: -

· Involves in Development projects involving Core Banking applications right from inception up until warranty taking end to end ownership of the delivery.

· Development or Enhancement of Objectstar and Mainframe programs as per the requirements.

· Analyze the requirements from projects and come up with testing scope and detailed test scenarios.

· Integration test support, defect fixes and Production deployments.

· Code, Unit Testing and System Test deliverable reviews.

· Regular communication with the customer and vendor teams.

· Identifying process improvement opportunities and automating them.

· Good Knowledge on OPC and Control-M/AFT batch scheduling.

· Good knowledge on Core Banking applications.

· Track the project issues and defects through the usage of JIRA, Confluence and QTEST.

· Representation in technical and change management.

· Defect, Incident, Risk and Escalation management.

Essential Skills required to perform the above job role:

· Programming capability in Objectstar, Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2 and Ezytrieve.

· Expertise on tools Abend aid, File aid, Endevor, Service Now, Remedy, Q-test, JIRA and Confluence.

· Good understanding of SDLC with waterfall model and agile methodologies.

· Selected person will be working for one of the four largest financial institutions in Australia in terms of market capitalization and customers. As part of this project associate involves in delivering changes involving core banking ledger applications. Need to take end to end ownership right from requirements analysis phase to warranty of the change post production deployment This includes Unit & System testing reviews and defect support.

· Associates must be having working knowledge in tools like File Aid,Abend-aid and strong coding skills involving data bases like IMS DB/DC and DB2.Core Banking application knowledge including banking domain is an added advantage.

· One should be in a position to intercat with other vendors such as Oracle, Other teams like IBM,KYNDRL and Environment services to co-ordinate and plan for testing the changes in Enterprise release

· Should be in a position to identify key areas of improvements which increases the productivity and identify gaps in the solution through testing practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
